Ongoing Collaboration
YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN (YT//ST) are a psychedelic noh-wave opera group fusing noise, metal, pop and folk music into a multidisciplinary hyper-orientalist cesspool of 'east' meets 'west' culture clash in giant monochrome paper sets.
Since 2012, I have been working with YT//ST on an eclectic range of projects fusing technology to the group's broad range of creative outputs: live video cueing for a rock opera performance, designing an MIDI-driven LED concert lighting system, and, at one point, trying to get a videogame successfully crowdfunded.
Most recently, I worked with YT//ST and Joyce Wong to realize the music video for Yandere, a single off of the band's third album, Dirt.
